REGIONAL REPRESENTATIVE
(Regional Director / Area Manager)
Summary
of Position
The Regional Representative in Haggai Institute
India (H.I.) is a Christian Servant Leader in the pivotal
position of ensuring the implementation of the Vision of the
H.I. India ministry in his/her assigned region, which is to
help ensure that the Gospel is presented in the power of the
Holy Spirit with cultural relevance and sensitivity to all
peoples, especially in the un-reached parts of India, so that
India will be transformed. He/she will implement this vision
by ensuring the equipping and empowering of Christian leaders
in his or her region for evangelism through training seminars
conducted by empowered Alumni Associations so that the Church
in India will impact the nation.
A. Overall Role & Responsibility
of the Regional Representative
Overseeing
the operations and ensuring development of the H.I. ministry
in the Region / Area
Pastoral
& Leadership Roles:
1. The Regional Representative will be a pastor to the H.I.
Alumni in his/her respective region.
2. The Regional Representative will be a spiritual leader
to the Alumni besides mentoring and helping them to grow in
their responsibilities in the H.I. Ministry.
3. Motivating, mobilizing and assisting the Alumni in passing
on the training to leaders for evangelism.
4. Sharing the Haggai Institute vision all over the region
and opening doors for H.I. training.
5. Chalking out ministry strategy for the region along with
the Alumni.
6. Building close and cordial relationships with the Alumni
in the region and building & nurturing a team of alumni
to accomplish the H.I. Mission.
Ministry
Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing, monitoring and ensuring high standards in the
ongoing training/planning activities such as regular Seminars,
Anchor Persons Training, FDS, Alumni meet etc.
2. Traveling & meeting the Alumni on regular intervals
in the interest of the ministry.
3. Travelling and meeting Christian leaders from the Marketplace,
churches and Christian ministries with a view to promoting
the Ministry of H.I. to them and to encourage them to enroll
in H.I. seminars in India and abroad
4. Building relationships with churches & missions and
selling the H.I. vision and encouraging H.I. training for
their members.
5. Teaching and presenting H.I. Vision in HI Seminars wherever
required.
6. Building & nurturing truly ‘empowered’
Alumni associations that would take ownership of the H.I.
India ministry at the local level.
7. Helping the H.I. Alumni Associations to set ministry goals
and plan seminars and ensuring implementation & achievements
thereof.
8. Giving orientation to the members of H.I. Alumni Associations
about their roles & responsibilities from time to time.
9. Developing faculty for H.I. seminars in the Region /Area
through Faculty Development Seminars, Faculty Initiation Seminars
and Subject Consultations in close consultation with the Faculty
Review Committee
10. Striving to constantly upgrade the quality of H.I. training
in all respects.
11. Ensuring high standards of capability of all ministry
partners (Coordinators, Anchor Persons, Alumni Association
Office Bearers) through on-going training and development
12. Developing and working with Regional Councils with the
view to building well-coordinated regional teams that would
own the ministry at the regional level as per previously laid
guidelines.
13. Developing a team of HI Coordinators (Hon.) to meet goals
of the region that are set from time to time.
14. Distribution of H.I. publications in the Region / Area.
15. Giving orientation to prospective participants for International
Seminars and welcoming new Alumni from the International Seminars.
Financial
Responsibilities:
1. Raising financial investment and developing new donors
for the H.I. India ministry from within the concerned Region
/Area.
2. Ensure that fund flow from the Region / Area and expenditure
incurred is as per budget provision.
3. Maintaining strong relationships with existing donors.
B.
Reporting:
1.
The Regional Representative will report to the Director Operations
on all matters
2. The Regional Representative will submit his/her Quarterly
Planning Fomat, Monthly Report/ Seminar Report/Trip reports
to the Director-Operations with a copy to the Executive Director
on or before the 2nd day of the following month.
3. Monthly Travelling Expense Statements must reach the National
Office by 20th day of every month.
C.
Special Responsibility:
The Regional Representative will carry out any other assignment
from the Executive Director or Director-Operations as intimated
from time to time.
