Summary of Position
The Development Staff in Haggai India is a Christian Servant Leader in the pivotal position of ensuring the implementation of the Vision of the ministry in his/her assigned role, which is to help ensure that the Gospel is presented in the power of the Holy Spirit with cultural relevance and sensitivity to all peoples, especially in the un-reached parts of India, so that India will be transformed.

He/she will ensure this by building and fostering partnerships with top alumni & investors for financial resource building for the Haggai India ministry. Also handle and develop a “Development Department” for resource mobilization in the future.

Duties and responsibilities:
Under the overall policy and strategic guidance and the direct supervision of the Executive Director, the ‘Director/ Manager Development’ is responsible to strategically plan, organize and coordinate the work of the HAGGAI INDIA’s Financial Resource Mobilization (development) requirements.

Specifically, she/he will:
1. Plan, implement, and monitor all aspects of integrated Development aspects of HAGGAI INDIA resulting in mobilization of financial resources for development and maintenance of Haggai India ministry.
2. Establish and coordinate the Development network across different stakeholders of the Haggai India (Alumni, Donors, BOD members, Society members, Staff, Volunteer Staff etc. etc) through modern information technology for efficient and effective real time dissemination of information;
3. Keeping the Development aspects in view, plan and develop print production of relevant promotional materials such as brochures, leaflets, posters, flyers, exhibitions, AV, responding in particular to the requirements of the target groups/ events; ensure efficient targeted distribution of information materials
4. Assist in producing a periodical electronic newsletter as well as the Newsletter in print media for the dissemination among stakeholders;
5. Work closely, guide and develop the team of Regional Directors, Area Managers and Coordinators to meet the financial goals of the National Ministry that are set from time to time. This would entail goal-setting and assessment of performance of the Field team members against previously set and agreed on standards.
6. Work closely with the Regional Councils through the Regional Directors and put systems in place with the view to build well-coordinated regional teams that would own the ministry, particularly the financial aspects, at the regional level as per previously laid guidelines.
7. Any other task assigned by the Reporting/Supervising Officer / Executive Director that would contribute to the realization of Haggai India Ministry objectives.

Minimum Criteria:
1. Born Again Christian.
2. Graduate.
3. Enjoys travel.
4. Initiative drive.
5. Excellent Networking and Communication skills.
6. Basic Computer operation skills.
7. Age: For Director-Development : Minimum 40 years- Maximum 50 years
For Manager-Development : Minimum 35 years- Maximum 45 years

Preference:
1. Haggai Alumni.
2. MBA/Post-graduate/doctoral degree holders.
3. Secular professional background (minimum 5 years for Manager and 10 years for Director)
4. Experience in Mission or Christian ministry.
5. Basic accounting skills.

Compensation:
Director: Approx. Rs. 5.5 Lakhs per annum depending on Qualification and Experience
Manager: Approx. 3.5 Lakhs per annum depending on Qualification and Experience and skills
(inclusive of HRA, Conveyance Allowance)
Mode of engagement: Under Special Services Contractual Agreement.

1. Regional Director/ Area Manager (East) | Duty Station: Kolkata / Bhubaneswar

3. Appointment will be subject to relocating or being stationed in the designated city with the family.

6. Networking skills.
7. Proficiency in local language of the region.
8. Basic Computer operation skills.
9. Age: For Regional Director : Minimum 40 years- Maximum 50 years
For Area Manager : Minimum 35 years- Maximum 45 years

Preference:
1. Haggai alumni.
2. MBA/Post-graduate/doctoral degree holders.
3. Secular professional background (minimum 5 years for Area Manager and 10 years for Regional Director)
4. Experience in Mission or Christian ministry.
5. Basic accounting skills.
6. A native leader from the respective region.

Compensation:
Regional Director: Approx. 5.5 Lakhs per annum depending on Qualification and Experience
Area Manager: Approx. 3.5 Lakhs per annum depending on Qualification and Experience and skills (inclusive of HRA, Conveyance Allowance, out station allowance)
Mode of engagement: Under Special Services Contractual Agreement.
