Haggai Institute India ("we", "us") runs haggai-india.com and sends email from addresses on the haggai-india.com domain. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have, including how to stop receiving our emails.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, address, church or organisation, and the details you enter when you sign up, register for a seminar or event, fill in a feedback form, or make a commitment or donation.
- Alumni and leader records: if you have attended a Haggai Institute seminar, we keep a profile with your contact details and seminar history so we can stay in touch with our alumni network.
- Payment information: online payments are handled by our payment provider (PayU). We do not store your card or bank details; we only keep the payment reference and amount.
- Technical information: cookies needed to keep you signed in and keep forms secure, and standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) used for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
- To run seminars, events and registrations you have signed up for.
- To send emails you would reasonably expect from us: registration confirmations, seminar information, newsletters, prayer and ministry updates, and invitations to future programmes.
- To issue receipts and keep the financial records required by law.
- To keep our website and accounts secure.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with other organisations for their own marketing.
Emails from us and how to unsubscribe
We send email only to people who have registered with us, attended our programmes, or otherwise given us their address. Every bulk email we send says who it is from and how to contact us.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run our work, such as our email provider (Microsoft 365), our payment provider (PayU) and our website host, and only so they can provide that service. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you are in contact with us or are part of our alumni network, and for as long as the law requires for financial records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Security
Our website uses HTTPS, access to records is limited to authorised staff, and accounts are password protected. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop sending you emails. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date above.
